During the meeting, ongoing projects and initiatives planned for 2026 were presented, with a focus on European programs addressing the main environmental challenges affecting Mediterranean and international deltas: flood management, coastal erosion, soil salinization, and biodiversity loss. The Assembly also welcomed new proposals from its Members.

Other members, such as the Consorzio di Bonifica Brenta, Consorzio di Bonifica Delta del Po, and the Agricultural Research Center of Cairo, joined remotely.
In the afternoon, the conference open to Extraordinary Supporters featured a keynote speech by Prof. George Zalidis, Emeritus Professor at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and Scientific Director of the Interbalkan Environment Center (i-BEC).
